Guiding Principles and Continual Improvement

The course reviews the ITIL® Guiding Principles and how they can be applied across organizations and contexts. You will learn how the principles support decision-making, collaboration, and improvement initiatives, as well as how continual improvement is embedded throughout the framework via the ITIL improvement model.

ITIL® Management Practices

You will receive an introduction to ITIL® management practices, their role within the framework, and how official practice guides support consistent and effective ways of working across teams and organizations.

  • 40 multiple-choice questions
  • 60 minutes duration
  • Closed book
  • Pass mark: 26 out of 40 correct answers (65%)
  • The exam is conducted on paper in the classroom

Exam Delivery
For in-person courses

The exam is taken as a paper-based test at the end of the final course day.

If you do not pass on your first attempt, you are entitled to one additional exam attempt at no extra cost (retake). The retake is completed digitally at a time that suits you.
