The course provides you with a deeper understanding of the Half Double method and, more importantly, how you can apply the methodology to achieve early results in your projects. Half Double is a hybrid project management method that integrates both traditional and agile approaches.
Throughout the course, you will be introduced to a range of practical tools that enable you to start using the method immediately in your role as a project manager. Before the course begins, you will receive the Half Double Foundation Guide, which gives you an introduction to the Half Double methodology.
To obtain the Half Double Foundation certification, you must pass a multiple-choice test on the last day of the course. The certification is included in the course fee.

The first day introduces the Half Double methodology and the learning journey for the course. The main focus is Impact, exploring how projects can maintain a strong focus on creating measurable value and desired outcomes.
Topics covered:
The second day focuses on Flow and how projects can create progress and maintain momentum. Participants explore Half Double methods and tools related to collaboration, key events and visual planning.
Topics covered:
The final day focuses on Leadership and Local Translation. Participants explore the leadership behaviours that support Half Double projects and how the methodology can be adapted to the specific context of an organisation and project.
The course concludes with an evaluation and the Half Double Foundation certification exam.

The Half Double Foundation Examination focus on the understanding of Half Double and it proves that you have a deep knowledge on Half Double core elements Impact, Flow, Leadership and Local translation and that you know the methods and the tools
The multiple-choice Foundation certification is conducted by the HDI and after the examination an auto-generated mail with a Certification Diploma will be send to the participant. The diploma is life-long.
