The course focuses on how to establish, implement, operate, maintain and continually improve a Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001. You will learn how to understand the organisation and its context, define the scope of the QMS, establish quality policies and objectives and manage risks and opportunities.

You will also work with resources, competence, communication, product and service requirements, design and development, production and service provision, performance evaluation and continual improvement. The course emphasises a structured and evidence based approach to quality management, as well as customer focus and the development of an organisational culture that supports quality.

The training is delivered through the myPECB platform and combines video based learning with course materials, exercises and quizzes.

Exam and certification

Exam

After completing the course, you can take the PECB Certified ISO 9001 Lead Implementer exam.

The exam covers seven competency domains, including QMS principles, initiation and planning of a QMS implementation, implementation, monitoring and measurement, continual improvement and preparation for a certification audit.

Certification

After successfully completing the exam, you can apply for the credentials shown on the table below. You will receive a certificate once you comply with all the requirements related to the selected credential.
