The course provides practical experience with Red Hat Satellite 6 and shows how the platform can be used to simplify deployment, configuration and lifecycle management across multiple Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems.

You will learn how to manage software repositories and content views, register and organize hosts, provision new systems and integrate Ansible for configuration management. The course also covers remote execution, Satellite Capsule servers, API usage and maintenance of the Satellite environment. The current Red Hat course is based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 and Red Hat Satellite 6.15.

Prerequisites

Participants should have Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) level knowledge or equivalent practical experience.

Familiarity with Red Hat Satellite 6 is recommended, but not required.
