The TOGAF® EA Training – Foundation course introduces the core concepts of Enterprise Architecture and the TOGAF Standard. Participants gain a structured understanding of how enterprise architecture can support organisational transformation and improve communication and consistency among architecture professionals.
The TOGAF Standard is one of the most widely used frameworks for Enterprise Architecture. It provides a structured approach for designing, planning and governing enterprise architecture in complex digital environments.
This course focuses on the foundational knowledge required to understand and apply the TOGAF approach. Participants learn the key terminology, the Architecture Development Method (ADM) cycle, and the supporting techniques used when developing enterprise architectures.
The course combines theoretical knowledge with practical examples and exercises, helping participants understand how TOGAF can be applied in real organisational contexts.

Participants are introduced to the core concepts of Enterprise Architecture and the TOGAF Standard. The session explains the terminology used within TOGAF and provides an overview of the framework structure.
The Architecture Development Method (ADM) is introduced, including the purpose and objectives of each phase. Participants also explore how the ADM can be adapted and scoped to suit different organisations.
The second day focuses on applying the ADM cycle in practice. Participants learn about techniques that support architecture development and how architecture deliverables are created during the architecture lifecycle.
The session also explains how architecture governance contributes to enterprise architecture development and how TOGAF can be applied in digital enterprise environments.
Examination
Certification is only achieved by passing the examination.
Competencies
Certified individuals will have the prerequisite qualification for becoming a TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Practitioner
The exam is included in the training fee. When you have completed the course, contact sertifisering and request your free exam voucher which can be used at any Pearson Vue test center or at your home or in your office using Pearson VUE OnVUE delivery. Glasspaper facilities this exam in Oslo or Trondheim.
