The ISO 45001 Lead Implementer training course equips participants with the competencies to establish, implement, operate, maintain, and continually improve an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OH&S MS).

This five-day course provides in-depth knowledge of ISO 45001 requirements and best practices for implementing and maintaining an OH&S management system. The training combines theory and practical application, enabling participants to create the conditions for a safer workplace and prepare organizations for third-party certification audits

PrerequisitesA basic understanding of ISO 45001 and occupational health and safety concepts is recommended.
Participants are introduced to ISO 45001, relevant standards and regulatory frameworks, and the fundamental concepts of occupational health and safety. The day covers initiation of the OH&S MS implementation and understanding the organization and its context.
This day focuses on leadership and worker participation, defining the OH&S MS scope, establishing OH&S policy and objectives, and identifying hazards and assessing risks and opportunities.
Participants explore resource management, awareness and communication, documented information management, operational controls, and emergency preparedness and response.
The course covers monitoring, measurement, internal audit, management review, treatment of nonconformities and incidents, continual improvement, and preparation for certification audits.
Certification examination.
Upon the successful completion of the exam, you can apply for one of the credentials shown in the table below. You will receive a certificate once you fulfill all the requirements related to the selected credential. Note: PECB certified individuals who possess the Lead Implementer and Lead Auditor credentials are qualified for the respective PECB Master credential, given they have taken four additional Foundation exams related to the scheme.
