This course helps experienced PRINCE2 Practitioners and/or experienced Agile Practitioners understand how the PRINCE2 governance model can be applied to Agile environments. By taking this course, experienced PRINCE2 practitioners develop management controls for agile development, while experienced agile practitioners understand PRINCE2 governance requirements

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the basic concepts of common agile ways of working
  • Understand the purpose and context for combining PRINCE2 and the agile way of working
  • Be able to apply and evaluate the focus areas to a project in an agile context
  • Be able to fix and flex the six aspects of a project in an agile context
  • Be able to apply or tailor the PRINCE2 principles, themes, processes and management products to a project in an agile context

PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner combines agile concepts with the world’s most popular approach to project management. Developed in response to user demand, the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner certifcation teaches you to blend structure, governance and control with agile methods, techniques and approaches.

Target Audience:

Primarily, PRINCE2 Agile is for those members of the PRINCE2 community who are practicing agile, are wanting to become more agile, or are encountering more agile. It may also be useful to agile practitioners who want to adopt PRINCE2 project governance to complement their existing agile practices.

Prerequisites:

You can take the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner certificate if you hold any of the following certifications:

  • PRINCE2® Foundation (or higher)
  • PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation
  • Project Management Qualification® (PMQ)*
  • Certified Associate in Project Management® (CAPM)*
  • IPMA Levels A,B,C and D® (Certified Projects Director).

All course material will be delivered digital and consist of:

  • Course material with slide sett
  • Notebook with sample exams
  • Official PRINCE2 Agile manual
  • PodCast which sums up the highlights per day

How to take the exam:

Regular classroom courses:

Paperbased exam at the end of the last course day

Virtual courses:

You will get an exam voucher that gives you access to an online exam. This can be booked and taken home monitored by a proctor via camera.

The trainer will also guide you through the procedures on how to book and prepare for the exam during the course

For both alternatives:

If you fail on your first attempt you receive a free online retake voucher. This can only be conducted online.

About the exam :

  • Examination Format: Objective testing
  • 50 questions each worth one mark
  • 30 marks or more required to pass out of 50 questions: 60% pass mark
  • Two-and-a-half hours’ (150 minutes) duration
  • Extra time (38 min) for non-natives English speakers
  • Open book exam. Only the official printed hard copy of the PRINCE2 Agile® Guidance is allowed.
