PRINCE2® Agile Foundation all English

PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation is a newly developed certification level to support PRINCE2 Agile. PRINCE2 Agile initially launched in 2015 with a Practitioner level certification and this new Foundation level certification will build upon that success by opening PRINCE2 Agile out to project managers outside of the existing PRINCE2 community.

Course description:

Learners understand the basic concepts of common agile ways of working. They understand the purpose and context for combining PRINCE2 and the agile way of working. They are able to apply and evaluate the focus areas to a project in an agile context. They can fix and flex the six aspects of a project in an agile context. They should apply or tailor the PRINCE2 principles, themes, processes and management products to a project in an agile context. They learn through the use of theory and practical exercises.

At the end of this course, learners will be able to:

  • Understand the key concepts relating to PRINCE2.
  • Understand the key concepts relating to projects and PRINCE2 Agile.
  • Understand how PRINCE2 principles, themes, processes and management products are tailored and applied in an Agile context.
  • Understand the agile ways of working, key terms and techniques.
  • Understand the focus areas in an Agile context.

Target Audience:

 The PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation course target audience includes but is not limited to:

  • Agile professionals, Project Managers and aspiring Project Managers who want to be able to combine PRINCE2 and Agile in the most effective way when using PRINCE2, Agile behaviours, concepts, frameworks, and techniques
  • Product Owners
  • Scrum Masters
  • Developers
  • Business professionals with an interest in iterative and incremental project delivery by collaborating working

Prerequisites:

 There are no prerequisites for the PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation course.

All course material will be delivered digital and consist of:

  • Course material with slide sett
  • Notebook with sample exams
  • Official PRINCE2 Agile manual
  • PodCast which sums up the highlights per day

How to take the exam:

Regular classroom courses:

Paperbased exam at the end of the last course day

Virtual courses:

You will get an exam voucher that gives you access to an online exam. This can be booked and taken home monitored by a proctor via camera.

The trainer will also guide you through the procedures on how to book and prepare for the exam during the course

For both alternatives:

If you fail on your first attempt you receive a free online retake voucher. This can only be conducted online.

  • Objective testing
  • One-hour multiple-choice paper
  • Extra time (15 min) for non-natives English speakers
  • 50 questions with a pass mark of 55%
