Effective Digital Transformation Realization

A three-day course how to set up and organize the business side of digital transformation. It shows how to support management teams in deciding upon the implementation of a digital strategy. The course describes a workshop structure containing four major steps, which are relevant in every digital transformation initiative.

These four steps are:

  1. How to elaborate on a digital transformation strategy; a digital strategy may be high level and the objective of this first step is to rephrase and define the strategy towards concrete, measurable and realizable concepts.
  2. How to create a digital strategy target; defining a target situation to be achieved in 3-4 years, helps to focus digital transformation initiatives and to let management and other stakeholders understand the direction and the intended goal of the transformation initiative.
  3. How to create a business architecture for digital transformation; building a business architecture (business value, business products, required business capabilities) describing how the target situation is to be realized.
  4. Architecture realization; how to come to a roadmap for implementation of the digital transformation initiatives, based on the business architecture.
