VMware Cloud Foundation: Solution Architecture and Design [v9.1]

Learn how to design VMware Cloud Foundation solutions at enterprise scale using structured architectural principles, proven design patterns, and a disciplined approach to technical decision making.

This five-day course teaches the architectural constructs, design patterns, and decision-making discipline required to design VMware Cloud Foundation solutions for enterprise environments.

You will work through a logical design sequence that covers the structure of the VCF fleet, management plane, instances, domains, clusters, and hosts, as well as how consumers access services and resources within the platform. The course also examines physical datacenter requirements, networking, storage, recovery, and cloud consumption.

Throughout the course, design principles are applied to a case study, allowing you to evaluate requirements, make architectural decisions, justify those decisions, and understand their implications in a realistic enterprise environment.
