Module 1: Getting Started with Transact-SQL

Learn the fundamental concepts behind relational databases and Transact-SQL. You will work with query tools, write and execute basic SELECT statements, and explore common data types and NULL values.

Module 2: Sorting and Filtering Query Results

Module 5: Modifying Data

Learn how to modify information stored in relational databases using the primary T-SQL data manipulation statements.

• Insert data into an existing table
• Automatically populate columns using IDENTITY or SEQUENCE values
• Modify data using UPDATE
• Delete data using DELETE
• Use MERGE to synchronize two tables

Module 6: Basics of T-SQL Programming Objects – Views, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions

This additional Glasspaper module introduces programming objects used to organize and encapsulate T-SQL code. You will explore views and functions for working with data, as well as stored procedures and triggers for enclosing data modifications within programming objects.
