Terms for ordering open courses

1 Registration and reservation of course 

Registration and reservation of course must normally take place directly on our website or to one of our employees. All registrations must include:

  • Full name, mobile phone and e-mail of participant (s)
  • Company
  • Orderer
  • Invoice information

It is the course participant's responsibility to read the course description thoroughly, and be sure that the course's prior knowledge requirements have been met.

2 Invoicing and payment terms

Invoicing takes place with a 14-day payment deadline to our corporate customers unless otherwise agreed. Invoice address / invoice reference / PO must be sent to us no later than 14 days before the start of the course if this has not been communicated during the booking of the course.

For private course participants, an invoice is sent out in advance of the course start and the course fee must be paid before the course starts. Customers who pay with vouchers (course gift cards) must submit this at least 5 working days before the course starts. Please note that vouchers only apply to selected courses.

3 Course fee

It is specified in the course description on the web what is included in the course fee . Usually the following are included:

  • Course machine (if required)
  • Course material
  • Lunch and refreshments
  • Certificate of attendance

4 Cancellation and rebooking

Customers can cancel or rebook open courses free of charge up to 10 working days before the start of the course.

If you cancel or rebook the course later than 10 working days before the start of the course, the entire course fee will be invoiced. When rebooking the course must be completed within 12 months of the originally planned course completion. The course can also be transferred to other people at the customer's office by further agreement with the supplier. In the event of illness, the course fee can be refunded upon presentation of a doctor's certificate / sick note.

5 Course times

Standard course time is 9-16, but many of our courses have different course times. Exact times are specified in the course description on the web.

6 Promotions and offers

Any promotions and offers from Glasspaper Learning can not be combined with other agreements with us, and courses ordered with promotional offers must be completed within 12 months of ordering.

7 Travel and accommodation

The individual course participant is responsible for booking travel and accommodation. Travel and accommodation that cannot be canceled / changed should not be booked until the guaranteed-to-run has been set at the current course.

8 Guaranteed to run

Courses marked with "Guaranteed to run" are guaranteed completion.
We reserve the right to cancel courses with a guaranteed-to-run in the event of unforeseen events such as Force Majeure, acute illness on the instructor or deregistration of several participants from a customer.
Glasspaper Learning does not take responsibility for indirect costs or lost earnings due to a canceled course less than 10 working days before the start.

9 Copyright

All course material, course documentation, etc. that the course participant has access to in connection with the course is protected under the Copyright Act and shall not be copied or distributed in any form.

10 VAT

According to Norwegian law there is no value added tax (VAT) on courses. However, there will be 25% VAT on learning materials and certification tests.

11 Quality guarantee

If you are not satisfied with one of our open calendar-bound courses, you have the full right to take the same course again at a later occasion. In that case, contact us within 10 days after completing the course. A new course must be completed within twelve months and it is assumed that the course participant brings with them course documentation from the first course.

12 Privacy

We do not share the information about you with third parties, except for our subcontractors who help provide services to you such as course materials and tests. This is regulated through separate agreements with the subcontractors.
