Terms for ordering in-house courses

1 Booking of courses

Booking of courses is done with your contact person in Glasspaper, and is confirmed by e-mail. You will receive a price confirmation that specifies all important elements in the delivery. Note that the course confirmation contains a few points the customer must follow up to ensure a good course experience.

2 Information for participants

The customer is responsible for sending out information to all its participants about the course implementation. The course confirmation from Glasspaper contains most of the information that should be passed on. A successful course depends on good information and the right expectation management. It is therefore important that the customer ensures that all participants have read the course description, and know what the course requires and contains.

3 Invoicing and payment terms

Invoicing takes place with a 14-day payment deadline unless otherwise agreed. An invoice is sent out immediately after the course starts.

4 Price

Price and what is included are specified by the offer and course confirmation. Prices are normally stated excluding VAT (see also section 6).

Normally the following are included:

  • Certificate of attendance

Normally the following are added or taken care of by the customer:

6 VAT

According to Norwegian law, there is no value added tax (VAT) on courses. However, there will be 25% VAT on learning materials, certification tests, shipping, room rental and lunch / catering (for room rental). Various expense items from third parties may also be subject to VAT.

At workshops (consulting services) VAT is added by 25%, and thus also on preparations for workshops.

7 Cancellation and rebooking

Customers are free to cancel in-house courses up to 20 working days before the course starts. In the event of cancellation of an in-house course between 20 and 10 working days before the start of the course; 50% of the course price will be invoiced, as well as any travel and accommodation costs where these cannot be canceled.

If cancellation of the course occurs later than 10 working days before the start of the course; the entire course price will be invoiced, as well as any travel and accommodation costs where these cannot be canceled.

Cancellation of individual participants later than 10 working days before the start of the course will be invoiced 100%.

8 Copyright

All course material, course documentation, etc. that the course participant has access to in connection with the course is protected under the Copyright Act and shall not be copied or distributed in any form.

9 Confidentiality

Both parties are obligated to maintain absolute confidentiality regarding the other party's business matters, including matters concerning customers or other business relations. Neither party has the right to use the other party's business or operational secrets for purposes other than the other party's activities. This applies, among other things, to all computer programs, systems, projects, notes / studies, contracts and other documents belonging to the other party.

10 Quality guarantee

Glasspaper has high quality requirements. If the course does not live up to expectations, it is important that Glasspaper is notified as early as possible in the course in order to make adjustments and ensure satisfied course participants.

The most important parameter in perceived quality is usually the instructor. If the instructor on the course is evaluated to a lower score than 6.5 out of 9 possible, Glasspaper will provide compensation based on dialogue with the customer.

11 Privacy

We do not share your information with third parties. Exceptions are subcontractors who provide related services, such as course materials and tests.
