In this 5 day course you will learn about Office 365 Security: how to proactively secure M365 enterprise and hybrid environments, implement and manage security and compliance solutions, respond to threats, and enforce data governance. This course will help you prepare for the new certification: Microsoft 365 Certified Security Administrator Associate.

Audience

This course is aimed at IT Pros working with the task of an Microsoft 365 security administrator role. This role collaborates with the Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator, business stakeholders and other workload administrators to plan and implement security strategies and ensures that the solutions comply with the policies and regulations of the organization. 

Prerequisites

To attend this course you should have the following skills:

• Basic conceptual understanding of Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Windows 10 devices.
• Experience with Office 365.
• Basic understanding of authorization and authentication.
• Basic understanding of computer networks.
• Working knowledge of managing mobile devices.

Certification

This course is recommended as preparation for exam MS-500: Microsoft 365 Security Administration. 

This exam is the only exam you need to pass in order to get the new certification Microsoft 365 Certified Security Administrator Associate.

The MS-500 exam is one of the associate exams that counts towards the Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert certification.
