The course focuses on the practical implementation and management of an AIMS. You will learn how to understand the organisation and its context, define the scope of the management system, establish roles and responsibilities and develop policies for the responsible use of artificial intelligence.

You will also work with AI risk management, selection and implementation of controls, operational management, monitoring and continual improvement. The course prepares you to support an organisation throughout the implementation process and towards an ISO/IEC 42001 certification audit.

The training is delivered through the myPECB platform and combines video based learning with course materials, practical exercises and quizzes.

Exam and certification

Exam

After completing the course, you can take the PECB Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer exam.

The exam covers six competency domains, including AIMS principles and requirements, implementation planning, implementation, monitoring and measurement, continual improvement and preparation for certification.

Certification

After successfully completing the exam, you can apply for the credentials shown on the table below. You will receive a certificate once you comply with all the requirements related to the selected credential.
