CCNA BC: Cisco CCNA Certification Fast Track Programme

The accelerated CCNA Bootcamp is an intensive program designed to teach learners how to install, operate, configure and verify a basic IPv4 and IPv6 network including configuring a LAN switch, configuring an IP router, connecting to a WAN and identifying basic security threats. This is a composite course derived from ICND1 and ICND2 content merged into one single course and delivered over 5 days. It is an ideal course for students looking to achieve CCNA Routing and Switching Certification in a fast and intensive way.

Exam 200-125 will be retired on 23 February 2020. We suggest you plan your exam well in advance, so you can retake if necessary.

This course will be replaced by the new CCNA: Implementing and Administering Cisco Solutions in February.

Due to the accelerated nature of this course it is expected that delegates will already possess existing experience working with Cisco Products and should have a strong existing familiarity with the concepts and products covered in the course. In addition, the learner should possess the following skills: 

  • Basic Windows navigation and keyboard literacy skills
  • Basic Internet usage skills
  • Basic IP addressing knowledge
  • Good understanding of network fundamentals 

Delegates without this existing experience should consider attending the Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices Part 1 Version 3.0 (ICND1) and Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices Part 2 Version 3.0 (ICND2) courses instead.

Course objectives:

After taking this course, you should be able to:

  • Describe network fundamentals and build simple LANs
  • Establish Internet connectivity
  • Manage and secure network devices
  • Operate a medium-sized LAN with multiple switches, supporting VLANs, trunking, and spanning tree
  • Troubleshoot IP connectivity
  • Describe how to configure and troubleshoot Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP) in an IPv4 environment, and configure EIGRP for IPv6
  • Configure and troubleshoot Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) in an IPv4 environment and configure OSPF for IPv6
  • Define characteristics, functions, and components of a WAN
  • Describe how device management can be implemented
  • Understand QoS, virtualization and cloud services, and network programmability related to WAN, access, and core segments.

Lab environment

Labs are core to understanding concepts taught. Students will have 120 hours of lab access. This is accessible over a 180 day period including classroom time, ensuring students are able to perform basic troubleshooting steps in an enterprise branch office network.


This course is recommended training for exam number 200-125 - CCNA which leads to the CCNA Routing and Switching Certification. 


Exam 200-125 will be retired on 23 February 2020. We suggest you plan your exam well in advance, so you can retake if necessary.
